Christians for Messiah Fellowship of Ministers

Our Premise

We are working toward a ministry breakthrough and a ministry-ordination revival. We desire a new ministry mindset where extending the good news of the gospel becomes our primary mandate. This involves a multiplication of ministers.

We want to see every person become a believer, every believer become a disciple,
and every disciple become a minister.

It is therefore, our intention to ordain as many qualifying persons, to the ministry, as possible. The harvest is great but the laborers are few. We will pray to the Lord of the harvest for more workers. We will do our part to encourage, equip, and ordain men and women to the work of the ministry.

The good news of the Gospel is defined and summed up by the ministry description that Jesus gave of His own ministry. He said:

The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to [ heal the brokenhearted – NKJ ], to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to [ set at liberty - NKJ ] release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor. ~Luke 4:18-19

Every minister of the gospel should follow Christ’s example by aiming to fulfill this ministry definition. The gospel involves more than salvation from sin; it involves: being sent of the Lord, being anointed by the Holy Spirit, preaching good news, ministering to the poor, healing the brokenhearted, proclaiming freedom to prisoners (those who are bound in body, soul or spirit), opening people’s eyes to God inspired revelation, liberating captives and proclaiming God’s blessings and favor over people and families. This description of ministry should be the goal for all Christian ministers. All ministry activity should point toward achieving these results.

Christians For Messiah Fellowship of Ministers Statement of Faith

  • We believe that the Bible is the word of God, divinely inspired in its original form. It is the final authority for determining Christian doctrine. It provides godly guidelines for the conduct and behavior of all individuals, families, communities and nations.

  • We believe in one omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient God revealed to man in three distinct persons, namely the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. He came to earth in the flesh, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died to pay for the sins of humanity, rose to life eternal and will one day, return to earth to be with his people. Eternal salvation comes only through his name.

  • We believe that all people are made in the image of God. All human life is sacred and the innocent should be defended.

  • We believe that the Christian life should result in one becoming a disciple of Christ. A believer should follow the morals and conduct of the New Testament scriptures. A Christian’s character should reflect the fruit of the Holy Spirit, namely: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control.

  • We believe in the unity of believers and that we should live in harmony with all men where possible, especially with Christians - those in the household of faith.

  • We believe in caring for widows, orphans, the poor, and the disadvantaged with compassion and practical aid.

  • We believe in the ordinances of the New Testament and the sacraments of the Christian Church. We believe in believer’s baptism, the celebration of the Lord’s Supper, the apostle’s doctrine, faith filled prayer, worship unto God, the fellowship of God’s people, miraculous signs and wonders and we hold marriage between a husband and a wife as holy unto the Lord.

  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead and those who receive God’s grace will live with him eternally, but the wicked will suffer in hell. We believe that God desires all people to be saved.

  • We believe that God judges people with justice and abundant mercy, in this life as well as in eternity. A person is saved only by God’s grace and not by works, but his behavior in this life will determine his blessings now and his eternal rewards later.
